Mortal Sin Kills Leadership: Confession Is Your First Act of War
⸻
Confession Is Not Optional. It’s the First Act of War.
If you’re in mortal sin, you have no spiritual authority.
You are spiritually dead. Period.
You may look like a husband. You may act like a father.
But you are not leading. You are decaying.
“Anyone conscious of a grave sin must receive the sacrament of Reconciliation before coming to communion.”—CCC1385
If you’re watching porn, skipping Mass, using contraception, abusing alcohol, lying, or harboring deep anger—you are not in a state of grace.
And if you receive the Eucharist in that condition, you are compounding your sin with sacrilege.
“Because you are lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.”—Revelation 3:16
Stop Rationalizing. Start Repenting.
Mortal sin is not a feeling.
It’s not a struggle.
It’s a choice that cuts you off from Christ.
And if you die in that state, you will not be saved.
You can’t pray this away.
You can’t journal your way out.
You can’t “feel spiritual” and bypass the Sacrament.
“Whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven. Whose you retain, they are retained.” —John 20:23
You need a priest.
You need absolution.
You need to walk into that box, confess your sins, and receive the mercy of God.
No Confession = No Mission
Don’t talk about leadership.
Don’t talk about masculinity.
Don’t talk about prayer, family, or discipline.
If you refuse Confession, you are refusing Christ.
And if you refuse Christ, you are inviting hell into your home.
Here’s What You Do—Today
1. Find a Confession time near you. Today. Not next week.
Use the internet and find a church. Drive if you have to. No excuses.
2. Make a brutal examination of conscience.
Not a checklist. A war report. Ask: What sin is killing me right now?
3. Go in. Kneel down. Say it all. No spin. No polish.
“Bless me Father, for I have sinned…”
4. Do the penance. Say the prayer. Walk out clean.
This is your tactical reset. You are now armed.
Final Orders
You are either in a state of grace—or you are compromised.
There is no neutral ground.
“He who is not with Me is against Me.”—Matthew 12:30
You want to lead?
Confess.
You want to fight for your wife and children?
Confess.
You want to survive judgment day?
Confess.
No Confession. No grace. No mission.
